They have an excellent operating system, it is simple to operate, it is very secure and not prone to getting virus' like a PC, it is built for everyone to use very simply. There are added programs like voice-over to help with blind, easy programs that are more basic and simpler looking than PC. Another great additive is the multi-touch trackpad. Allowing different commands and gestures to be done so quickly and effortlessly.
There are other features of the macbooks that are great, in the macbooks and imacs there are isight cameras that come standard. iphoto, imovie, garageband, iweb, idvd which all comes standard. those programs are made to make the macbooks and imacs more unique to the consumers. They have a top notch design to them as they are built with aluminum and glass. No other computers are made this way, which makes the macbooks and imacs more desireable and more expensive.
Macbook batteries can be charged up to 1000 times and last longer than a normal notebook battery. This makes them much more useful and ecofriendly as they can be used for longer periods of time without being replaced.
Apple is making their products more compatible with other products available.
